Post CPAP Titration

Athens Sleep and Wellness would like to thank you for allowing us to help you with your sleep study needs. As a reminder, last night’s study was a therapeutic procedure to help your physician identify if CPAP helps controls your sleep apnea. Using CPAP should help minimize or eliminate the daytime and nighttime discomforts that you may be having at this time.

What to expect

Over the next 7-10 days, your study will be scored and reported to the interpreting physician for review.

If the physician finds CPAP helped you, we will order a CPAP machine for your home. Our staff will contact you to let you know what company will be assisting you in your equipment needs and when to expect a phone call. A DME (Durable Medical Equipment company) will contact you to set up an appointment to set up your equipment and mask. Your primary care physician will receive a copy of your results and notification of your CPAP order as well. We encourage you to communicate any feedback to the DME provider regarding your experience wearing the CPAP during the titration at our center. Doing this will help them set you up with the most effective equipment to control your sleep apnea.

You may receive a call from Athens Sleep and Wellness Center asking you about your sleep study experience with us and make sure we have met or exceeded your expectations.

If you have any questions about the procedure or test results please feel free to contact us and we will be glad to assist you in any way that we can.
